As a wedding planner, I was thrilled when the Montage Healdsburg opened its doors in 2021. With 258 acres of green vineyards and contemporary architecture, the Montage Healdsburg is an exceptional location for a warm and inviting wedding celebration.
Even better, there is no shortage of luxurious amenities and exciting activities to keep the wedding party entertained! For couples seeking a natural glow, I suggest soaking up some California sun (with sunscreen) at the resort’s zero-edge pool. Or you can indulge in pampering at the serene Spa Montage, where you and your partner can calm those wedding jitters. From formal dining to outdoor activities to rides in a Cadillac, everyone will enjoy their stay leading up to your big day.

The Grand Lawn: The 8,000-square-foot space is tucked away where up to 350 guests can join you with gorgeous views of Mount St. Helena and the Alexander Valley serving as your picturesque backdrop.
The Vista Lawn & Terrace: Against a background of rolling green vineyards and the Mayacamas Mountain Range, this venue will have your guests ooh-ing and aah-ing as you walk down the aisle. Adding to the venue’s unique charm, the space features a striking fire feature that provides a warm touch and romantic ambiance to your reception.
Oak Lawn & Terrace: One of my personal favorites, this space is suited for a radiant wedding celebration at sunset. The Oak Lawn is ideal for saying your “I dos,” and people can easily transition to the terrace for a warm and inviting reception.
Gallery Ballroom & The Grove: A versatile option for your special day, these two spaces can be combined or used separately. The contemporary Gallery Ballroom provides a sophisticated and elegant setting for your wedding reception and dinner. It seamlessly opens up to the chic patio area at The Grove, adding outdoor charm.
Grand Ballroom: If you’re looking for a venue that offers both versatility and luxury, the Grand Ballroom is an excellent choice that will surely leave a lasting impression on you and your guests. This space can be divided into two separate areas for a ceremony and dinner reception—extravagant and convenient!

I reassured Rhea and Sean that if anyone could plan a luxury-laid-back wedding in five months, it would be Blissful Events. So, we got straight to work. Given that they were planning remotely, they put complete trust in our team. After listening to their ultimate wedding vision, I knew the Montage Healdsburg was the perfect fit.
When Rhea and Sean arrived at the beautiful location in Sonoma wine country, it was a special moment to see their eyes light up with joy. The breathtaking scenery of Montage Healdsburg’s greenery and beautiful oak trees made it feel like they stepped into a modern-day fairytale.
The wedding ceremony started during the golden hour on the stunning Oak Lawn, where rays of light gleamed between the trees. Afterward, Rhea, Sean, and their guests were treated to a one-of-a-kind “Coachella” wedding experience as we turned the Montage Healdsburg into a vibrant music festival.
From a well-known DJ performance to a 10-piece band to the bride and groom’s own club DJ for an after-hours party, the large venue allowed us to create four separate locations filled with musical surprises. The blush floral accents grown specifically for the occasion added to the festival atmosphere and made for a truly unforgettable celebration.
